Job summary

EDF Trading is seeking a Senior Cyber Security professional to own cyber domains end-to-end, driving practical improvements and reducing risk across security tooling, vulnerability management and threat-informed remediation.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application and identity teams to prioritise actions based on attacker behaviour and to improve the organisation's cyber defence posture.

Qualifications

• Senior technical contributor in cyber or infrastructure security.
• Owned or contributed to one cyber security domain (endpoint security / vulnerability management / identity security).
• Experience with EDR tooling (CrowdStrike) to investigate detections and improve controls.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more cyber security domains end-to-end, manage risks and improvement backlogs.
• translate threat intel into practical controls and improvements.
• Lead security improvement initiatives from analysis to implementation and handover.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation prioritisation.
• Mentor and engage with technical teams and stakeholders.
