Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking an Application Operations Engineer in Exeter, with a hybrid setup (1 day on-site per week). The role is a 12-month contract focusing on onboarding and configuring data products for an advanced forecasting platform.

You will handle product configurations, testing, and ITIL-aligned operational processes, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Experience with logic-less templating languages (Handlebars.js/Mustache.js) and Typst or similar markup tools.
• Proficient in ITSM tooling, especially ServiceNow, for Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Operational experience in ITIL-aligned environments, with strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage data products using templating languages (Handlebars.js / Mustache.js) and Typst.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to support end-to-end onboarding of products.
• Log, manage and resolve Changes, Incidents, and Problems using ServiceNow.
• Assist with executing test scripts, gather user feedback, and provide insights to improve platform functionality.
• Ensure accurate asset tracking, secure configurations, and adherence to change control procedures.
