Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment in Exeter seeks an Application Operations Engineer to support, monitor, and maintain single applications or full service suites within the OPV Vortex context. You will manage incidents, changes, and problems, collaborating with Product and Service Delivery managers to onboard data products and ensure seamless operation.

You will configure Vortex products, assist with testing, and help optimize performance across the platform in a cross-functional team,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting application services and monitoring.
• Ability to manage incidents, changes and problems using standard workflows.
• Strong collaboration with product and service delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure Vortex products using template logic (Handlebars.js/Moustache.js) and layout languages (Typst).
• Collaborate with Product and Service Delivery Managers to onboard data products.
• Execute necessary product reconfigurations post-onboarding.
• Work collaboratively within the team.
• Manage Changes, Incidents, and Problems via ServiceNow.
• Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team supporting Vortex and its users.
• Assist with testing, verification, and feedback on Vortex system functionality.
