Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking an experienced Platform Manager to lead the evolution, performance and operational excellence of our Core Banking Platform. You’ll work with engineering teams, architects, business stakeholders and suppliers to shape the platform roadmap and deliver value for colleagues and customers.

• Experience leading technology platforms within a complex environment.
• Proven ability to deliver platform strategy with operational excellence.
• Experience managing roadmaps, priorities, risks and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Core Banking Platform.
• Own platform priorities, backlogs, risks and informed trade-offs.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and remove blockers to delivery.
• Drive platform performance, reliability and service health.
• Oversee risk, security, governance, audit and compliance activities.
• Build strong relationships across Engineering, Architecture, Security and Operations.
