Job summary

Collinson Group is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the shared technology platforms and cloud services that power its Insurance technology estate. You will drive platform tooling, observability and operational resilience to enable secure, reliable software delivery.

You will coach DevOps engineers across product teams, define engineering standards and collaborate with Security, Architecture and Engineering to improve platform capabilities.

Qualifications

Leadership of Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations or Infrastructure Engineering teams.
Experience operating cloud platforms in production and ensuring service reliability and resilience.
Ability to implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, automation and developer enablement.

Responsibilities

Own and operate shared platform services, cloud platforms and tooling with uptime SLAs.
Oversee third-party platform providers and ensure service delivery aligned to security and regulatory standards.
Lead platform operations, incident management, RCA and disaster recovery testing.
Define platform engineering standards and guide DevOps engineers across product teams.
Embed security-by-design and work with Security to remediate vulnerabilities.
