Job summary

ISS STOXX seeks a Principal Platform Engineer to lead global cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and drive a mature multi-cloud strategy. You will build self-service tooling, CI/CD, and AI-enabled platform capabilities, partnering with architecture, security, and product teams to scale enterprise solutions.

You will mentor engineers, champion best practices, and balance innovation with operational excellence across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in platform or cloud engineering with enterprise-scale experience.
• Proven track record designing cloud-native platforms on GCP and AWS.
• Hands-on Terraform and IaC for large-scale platforms.
• Strong Python and automation skills to build reusable tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Shape architecture and operation of global cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
• Develop AWS landing zones aligned with GCP standards and governance.
• Build platform services, self-service tooling, and CI/CD capabilities.
• Enable AI workloads with platform tooling and guardrails.
• Lead incidents and guide engineers in high-impact problems.
• Drive improvements in reliability, observability, security and cost.
