Job summary

Optibrium is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to lead a small team of Platform Engineers, owning infrastructure across AWS and on‑premises systems. You will set the technical vision, drive platform roadmaps, and collaborate with security and engineering to ensure reliability and security standards.

You will manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and platform improvements, while owning incidents, cost, and security posture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a Platform or DevOps team.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience (EKS/EC2/S3/IAM/VPC).
• Advanced Kubernetes with Helm deployments.
• Experience IaC with Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience building pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Working knowledge of SSO/OAuth.
• Solid understanding of ISO27001 information security.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a Platform/DevOps team and manage sprints.
• Own and evolve the AWS cloud and on-prem infrastructure and costs.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release planning.
• Drive security, ISO27001 compliance, incident response and DR tests.
• Engage with customers on deployments and integrations.
