Job summary

Interact Consulting Limited in the UK Fintech space is seeking an Engineering Lead to drive AWS infrastructure, DevOps strategy and operational excellence, with a remote-first stance and monthly meetups in central London.

You will lead a 5-7 person Operations Engineering team, shape cloud cost optimization, security and reliability, and partner with product and security to deliver scalable, secure financial services technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering/infrastructure/DevOps/SRE teams of 3+ years.
• Strong AWS and cloud infrastructure expertise (10+ years).
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and observability.
• Knowledge of Docker, incident management and cloud security.
• Strong technical, strategic and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5-7 Operations Engineers.
• Shape the AWS, infrastructure and DevOps strategy.
• Drive reliability, security, observability and operational excellence.
• Champion You Build It, You Run It engineering practices.
• Drive cloud cost optimisation and FinOps.
• Partner with Engineering, Product and Security to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Provide technical leadership while empowering your team to own outcomes.
