Job summary

Foundation Partners in Central London is hiring a Lead Platform Engineer to own the infrastructure end to end in a hybrid setup (2–3 days per week). The role carries responsibility for building a secure, scalable platform for an AI operating system in a high-stakes, compliance-bound environment.

You will own GitOps with Argo CD, Kubernetes on AWS (EKS), and IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu/Terragrunt, delivering multi-tenant, isolated customer environments with strong security and observability.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE at senior/lead level.
• Experience operating production multi-tenant or customer-specific environments.
• Hands-on engineer who balances speed, security, cost, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• GitOps backbone on Argo CD to ship safely across many clusters.
• Kubernetes on AWS (EKS) across production environments.
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform/OpenTofu/Terragrunt as truth for runs.
• Multi-tenant, per-customer isolation with dedicated clusters and data plane.
• Security and compliance posture: secrets management, access controls, and hardening.
• Observability: telemetry, metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, alerts.
• Reliability, incident response, and runbooks to protect customer trust.
• CI/CD and release automation to maintain a high shipping cadence.
• Developer experience improvements to deploy and debug quickly.
