Job summary

Foundation Partners seeks a Lead Platform Engineer to own the end-to-end infrastructure in a hybrid, security‑driven setup. You will manage the GitOps backbone, Kubernetes on AWS, and IaC across multi‑tenant environments, enabling rapid yet trustworthy deployments for customers.

The role requires hands‑on expertise, strong ownership, and a track record of building resilient, compliant platforms in fast‑moving AI contexts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure.
• Experience owning multi-tenant or customer-specific environments.
• Fluent with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud (AWS preferred).
• Experience with GitOps and infrastructure-as-code; ability to avoid over-engineering.
• Exposure to security/compliance regimes (SOC2, HIPAA) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end infrastructure across platform and customer environments.
• Manage GitOps deployment backbone with Argo CD across clusters.
• Operate Kubernetes on AWS (EKS) across prod environments.
• Implement IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu and Terragrunt.
• Maintain security posture, access controls, and audit-ready controls.
• Ensure observability, incident response, and runbooks for reliability.
• Improve release automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance developer experience for fast deployments.
