Job summary

London Stock Exchange seeks a Principal Technical Engineer with deep Kubernetes and Cloud Native expertise to design, implement and scale our container infrastructure. You will lead a fast-moving team of cloud engineers, set technical direction, mentor colleagues and collaborate with product and security teams to ensure reliability and security at scale.

This hands-on role offers opportunities to shape our platform and advance modern SDLC practices while staying at the forefront of cloud

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cloud computing with AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Hands-on software development experience and Agile delivery.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven Cloud Native experience on at least one major provider.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Drive best practices in cloud infrastructure design and SDLC.
• Backlog ownership for Kubernetes delivery team.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and sysadmin teams.
