Job summary

Be-IT is seeking a Senior Platform & DevOps Engineer to join a small, high-impact engineering team building cloud platforms powering critical applications. You’ll shape platform direction, own automation, and drive engineering excellence in a hybrid London-based setup.

The role blends platform engineering with DevOps, IaC, and modern CI/CD practices, offering autonomy and a hands-on, growth-focused environment in Central London.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure in Azure.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong Kubernetes and containerised platform experience.
• Expertise in Terraform IaC and reusable IaC patterns.
• Proven observability approach with metrics and logging tooling.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and operating cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Developing and improving CI/CD capabilities and deployment automation.
• Working extensively with Kubernetes and container-based platforms.
• Building reusable Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Driving platform standardisation, automation and engineering best practice.
• Improving observability, monitoring and operational excellence.
• Collaborating closely with software engineers, architects and technology stakeholders.
• Evaluating and introducing new tools and approaches where they add value.
• Taking ownership of complex technical challenges from design through to delivery.
