Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in London seeks a Principal Technical Engineer with deep Kubernetes and CNCF landscape experience to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of our cloud platform. You will mentor engineers, shape strategy and drive secure, scalable infrastructure for critical applications at scale.

Ideal candidates have hands-on cloud delivery experience, strong leadership, and a track record of building cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure teams.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Proven experience delivering production cloud solutions at scale.
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related field); CK A/CKAD/CKS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and related infra.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers; set best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infra with business goals.
• Drive security, reliability and cost optimisation across cloud platforms.
