Job summary

Avanti is seeking a Platform Engineer to maintain and evolve a production cloud platform. You’ll work on AWS/Kubernetes, deliver infrastructure projects end-to-end, and improve reliability while collaborating with software engineers.

Ideal candidates have hands-on IaC, Helm, Git, and monitoring expertise, with a passion for building secure, scalable systems in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing production cloud platforms and collaborating in a multi-person team.
• Hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code tooling.
• Proficient in Linux, Bash or Python scripting; monitoring and incident response experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC and Terraform.
• Operate and improve production Kubernetes environments (EKS).
• Support platform reliability, performance and security.
• Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Deliver infrastructure projects from design to implementation.
