Avanti Recruitment Limited is seeking an AWS-focused DevOps Engineer for a fully remote UK role. You will operate and improve production AWS infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines while supporting Docker and Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS infrastructure in production environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerised applications.
• Strong networking fundamentals.
• Experience with infrastructure or operational automation.
• Monitoring, logs and metrics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operating and improving production AWS infrastructure.
• Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Supporting Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Automating deployment and operational processes.
• Improving monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Troubleshooting production and infrastructure issues.
• Reviewing cloud provisioning, scaling and performance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve AWS cost efficiency.
• Working closely with developers on deployment and runtime issues.
• Supporting security, backup and operational resilience.
