Job summary

UnderwriteMe is seeking a Platform Engineer to maintain, optimise and grow our cloud platform, driving initiatives across low-level cloud architecture, developer experience and tooling, SRE and cloud security.

This high-impact role involves operating a global, high-availability platform and mentoring engineers to improve scalability and time-to-market for product teams, with in-person collaboration 2 days a week at our London office.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building & operating distributed cloud infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures and tooling.
• Strong collaboration with engineering teams to guide cloud usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex platform initiatives from concept through to production.
• Maintain and operate a global, high availability infrastructure platform across regions.
• Champion CI/CD, SRE, networking and cloud security practices.
