Job summary

Thehumanoid in Greater London is seeking a Software Engineer to own the CI infrastructure essential for robot development. This role involves building reliable CI pipelines and improving developer experience, significantly impacting how quickly we deliver robots.

The ideal candidate has experience with build systems such as Bazel, designing CI pipelines, and a strong understanding of dependency management, alongside collaborating with top experts in AI and robotics.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with build systems, ideally Bazel or CMake.
• Experience designing and operating CI pipelines at scale.
• Strong understanding of hermetic build environments.
• Comfort debugging complex build failures across multiple languages.
• Experience with dependency management tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Instrument CI telemetry and dashboards for build health.
• Define and enforce policies for code merges.
• Own and maintain remote build cache infrastructure.
• Manage the developer environment for quick iterations.

Skills

Build systems experience (Bazel, CMake)
