Job summary

Humanoid is seeking a Software Engineer to lead the build system and CI infrastructure critical for robot development. This technical role involves maintaining CI pipelines, managing the remote build cache, and improving developer experiences.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience with build systems like Bazel or CMake and familiarity with CI pipeline design at scale. The role offers a collaborative environment with significant investment in employee well-being and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with build systems and CI pipelines.
• Comfort debugging complex build failures across multiple languages.
• Experience with dependency management and the tradeoffs between reproducibility, speed, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Define and enforce policies to keep main green.
• Own and maintain remote build cache infrastructure.

Skills

Experience with build systems (e.g., Bazel, CMake)

CI pipeline design and operation

Understanding of hermetic build environments

Debugging complex build failures
