Job summary

Gattaca aims to transform engineering workflows with AI-assisted tooling and scalable internal systems. You will work within the Platform team on tools and automation that simplify how we build software, operate production and access information across the organisation.

Role focuses on identifying high-impact tooling, applying AI to review code and investigate issues, and automating repetitive engineering tasks while maintaining safe, auditable access to production data and codebases.

Qualifications

• High autonomy to identify problems and drive solutions from observation to deployment.
• Strong software engineering skills across backend, data, infra and simple UIs.
• Good product judgment to ensure automation genuinely reduces friction and adds value.
• Demonstrated drive to push important work forward without a queue of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify tooling opportunities to remove friction in engineering workflows.
• Build internal tools, CI, deployment improvements and intuitive interfaces.
• Apply AI to code review, debugging, data queries and routine engineering work.
• Define safe execution boundaries for tools accessing production and source code.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver practical, scalable solutions.
