Job summary

Civil Aviation Authority is seeking a Platform Delivery Specialist at Gatwick on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will help shape IT strategy, deliver infrastructure projects and ensure support transitions while working in a hybrid setup.

The role requires cloud and on-premise infrastructure knowledge, SharePoint/Microsoft stack experience, and collaboration with multiple internal teams. Close collaboration with architecture and operations ensures alignment with business needs.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge of infrastructure development lifecycles in a complex environment.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based technologies (Azure, Office 365).
• Ability to negotiate with external suppliers and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into IT strategy and delivery aligned with business goals.
• Oversee and deliver IT infrastructure projects and service designs.
• Mentor ISD staff and transition projects to support teams.
• Ensure change management processes are followed for all deployments.
• Provide on-call technical support as part of a rota.
• Collaborate across IT workstreams to deliver coherent solutions.
