Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Head of Platform Engineering (Senior Technical Architect) to lead the GPA's technology platform strategy across hybrid environments in multiple UK locations. You will shape platform architecture, drive cloud and DevOps practices, and mentor a team of engineers and architects.

You'll collaborate with public sector stakeholders to define a technology roadmap, ensure security and scalability, and promote continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering

Qualifications

Extensive experience in platform architecture, cloud services and DevOps practices.
Proven leadership of engineering teams in public sector.
Strong SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD knowledge.
Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design and implement platform solutions that meet public service needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define a strategic technology roadmap.
Ensure performance, security, and scalability across platforms.
