Job summary

Eurovia UK Limited is seeking a proactive Plant Operative to join our production team. The role involves operating and maintaining the processing plant safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally responsible manner to meet quality standards.

Shifts are split between day and night, with weekend work as required. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Control team and support continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in recycling or quarrying or asphalt production.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with plant control systems.
• Awareness of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Mobile or fixed plant qualifications (Loading Shovel, Telehandler, or similar).
• Basic mechanical or electrical maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the control system in line with production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor, control and adjust plant settings for consistent production.
• Carry out daily plant inspections and ensure equipment is maintained to safety standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning and basic repairs per maintenance schedules.
• Load and manage incoming raw materials; maintain production and stock records.
