Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is recruiting a Plant Operator for the night shift to support a leading recycling company at the forefront of power generation. The role offers a basic salary of £38,500–£54,000 depending on experience and requires 4 night shifts per week.

You will operate and monitor plant systems, conduct start-ups and shutdowns, and ensure safety, compliance, and efficient production. The position emphasizes a strong safety culture and continuous site improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring plant systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production process.
• Carrying out routine inspections, start-ups, shutdowns, and plant changeovers in line with operating procedures.
• Ensuring the plant operates within defined parameters while fully complying with HSE legislation, site rules, and company policies.
• Supporting the permit-to-work system, including isolations, lock-off/tag-out, and safe systems of work.
• Responding effectively to plant faults, alarms, and abnormal operating conditions to minimise downtime.
• Assisting with planned outages, maintenance activities, and contractor supervision as required.
• Maintaining accurate operational logs, shift reports, and handovers.
• Actively promoting a strong safety culture and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
