Job summary

Chaffin Works is seeking a Machine Operator to operate plant machinery across South East projects, including vegetation management and infrastructure work. Location options include Maidstone or Polegate, with a Monday–Friday 7.00am–4.00pm schedule and overtime availability.

Essential qualifications include CSCS Card, SSSTS and NRSWA/Street Works. This full-time role offers enhanced overtime, potential temp-to-perm progression, and attractive earnings through regular overtime.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is essential.
• SSSTS qualification is required.
• NRSWA / Street Works qualification is needed.

Responsibilities

• Operating plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance checks
• Supporting site teams with project delivery
• Working in line with all health and safety procedures
• Completing site records and documentation
