Job summary

Chaffin Works in Maidstone (or Polegate) is seeking an experienced Team Leader to support its Arboriculture and Grounds Maintenance division. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, lead teams, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

This role offers £125-£150 per day with enhanced overtime and realistic OTE £50,000-£60,000+, plus a permanent opportunity after a successful temp period and ongoing training across Kent and Sussex.

Qualifications

• CS30 & CS31 certification required.
• SSSTS certification required.
• CSCS card required.
• Chipper operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and lead teams.
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Act as main on-site contact and coordinate activities.
• Manage overtime and site resources as needed.
