Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Machine Operator to support arboriculture, vegetation management and infrastructure projects across the South East. Role covers operating plant machinery and performing safety checks, with regular overtime and a temp-to-perm route.

Location is Maidstone or Polegate, hours 7:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime evenings and weekends as required. Salary includes £121–£130 per day and enhanced overtime with an OTE of £45,000–£50,000+.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include CSCS Card and CPCS Plant Operator Certification for 10 tonne+ machinery.
• SSSTS and NRSWA / Street Works are desirable qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Operating plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance checks
• Supporting site teams with project delivery
• Working in line with all health and safety procedures
• Completing site records and documentation
