Job summary

Chaffin Works in Kent and Sussex is seeking Arboriculture & Grounds Maintenance Operatives to support a range of contracts. You will work outdoors, perform tree care, grounds maintenance, and vegetation management, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role offers a days pay of £121-£130 with regular overtime and a clear path to permanent employment, plus ongoing training and development to build a long-term career.

Qualifications

• CS30 & CS31 licences are essential for operation.
• CSCS Card is required to access sites and perform duties.
• Chipper and Strimmer experience is expected.
• Desirable: CS32 and IPAF / MEWP qualifications.

Arboriculture & Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Maidstone or Polegate
Pay: £121-£130 per day + Enhanced Overtime (OTE £40,000-£50,000+)
Contract Type: Full Time | Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.00am-4.00pm - Overtime flexibility is required to work evenings and weekends, when required.
