Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in Randburg, Gauteng. This on-site role oversees technicians responsible for the upkeep and repair of plant equipment, implementing robust maintenance strategies and managing work orders to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, deep mechanical and electrical knowledge, experience with preventative and predictive maintenance, and proficiency with CMMS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and their maintenance needs.
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance techniques and software.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.
