Flannery Plant Hire (Oval) Ltd. is seeking a proactive Hire Controller to manage client plant hire needs, schedule equipment delivery/collection, and coordinate with the Operations team on availability and maintenance. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and timely quotes in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in plant hire, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within the plant hire industry.
• Strong organisational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
• Knowledge of plant and equipment types, specifications, and safe usage.
• Proficient in using plant hire software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for client plant hire needs, coordinating delivery and collection and planning equipment movements.
• Provide timely quotes and maintain regular communication with clients during hire periods.
• Coordinate with Operations to manage equipment availability and maintenance before/after hires.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately (delivery notes, safety certificates, purchase orders).
• Proactively resolve issues or complaints and report on operations and performance.
