SPL is seeking a Hire Desk Controller to join the Head Office in Shropham. You will manage customer interactions, coordinate rental and transport logistics, and ensure paperwork is completed accurately, contributing to strong service levels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in plant hire, with knowledge of fleet and logistics management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient with Word and Excel for daily tasks.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders accurately and prepare quotations promptly.
• Process and manage all related paperwork with accuracy.
• Assist in day-to-day rental fleet management and logistics coordination.
• Coordinate with transport dispatch to ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally.
