Job summary

Interaction Recruitment in Malton is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth across construction sector clients. You will develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities, attending meetings and events as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, business development or account management.
• Proactive in generating new business and building relationships.
• Comfortable with outbound calls and client meetings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to spot and convert sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across construction sector.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.
• Make regular contact with customers to understand requirements and identify opportunities.
• Arrange and attend customer meetings and site visits.
• Promote plant hire, equipment and related services.
• Identify opportunities to increase account spend with additional products/services.
• Understand customers' projects and future requirements.
• Research market and identify potential new customers/sectors.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations and opportunities.
• Work with internal teams to ensure high service levels.
• Maintain accurate CRM and internal data.
