Job summary

INDLEE is seeking a Business Development Executive in Malton to drive growth in plant hire services. The role requires building strong client relationships, identifying new business and promoting a range of equipment and services.

You will travel to client sites and attend meetings and exhibitions, with responsibility for meeting sales targets and expanding account spend. A full UK driving licence and vehicle access are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers in the construction sector.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.
• Regularly contact customers to understand requirements and identify opportunities.
• Arrange and attend customer meetings and site visits.
• Promote plant hire, equipment and related services.
• Identify opportunities to increase account spend with additional products.
• Understand customers' businesses and future requirements.
• Research market and identify potential new customers and sectors.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high service levels.
• Maintain accurate CRM and customer data.
• Attend exhibitions and industry events.
• Support promotional campaigns and BD initiatives.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback.
• Work towards agreed BD and sales targets.
