Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is recruiting a Plant Floor Technician to support IT at our Halewood site, ensuring hardware, software and applications run smoothly across 24/7 operations. The role involves shift work Monday–Friday with weekend occasional duties.

You will join a team at a manufacturing site, providing first-line support, coordinating repairs with TTL teams, upgrading software, and assisting with PC refresh and network connectivity to keep the plant running efficiently.

Qualifications

1st line IT support experience.
Experience in manufacturing/production is preferred.
Understanding of Microsoft applications and software.
Understanding of computer networks.

Responsibilities

Provide first line IT support for standard and non-standard devices.
Coordinate with TTL teams and customer maintenance to plan repairs.
Fix bespoke software applications.
Upgrade software and inform users of changes.
Replace faulty hardware such as barcode scanners, printers, handheld devices, and touch monitors.
Assist with PC refresh activities.
Liaise with Network Team for connectivity issues.
Floor-walk to support users.
