Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Planning & Training First Line Manager to lead our operations and drive success. You will develop and deliver training, manage labour planning, and uphold safety standards to ensure optimal performance.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills, with a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational plans to support customer volumes, priorities, and service requirements.
• Coordinate and deliver training for new starters, existing colleagues, and FLMs in line with site operational standards.
• Maintain training matrices and ensure compliance with mandatory, customer-specific, and MHE training requirements.
• Review operational performance and resource requirements to ensure adequate labour planning and skills coverage.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through coaching, development, and best practice implementation.
• Ensure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
• Foster Collaboration: Build a strong team culture that values communication, accountability and teamwork. Together, we'll achieve great results!

Grade: RCS N grade

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). Shifts will be worked between 07:00 and 23:00 - flexibility is essential to meet business needs.
