Job role: Planning and Logistics Manager

Report to: Senior Operations Manager

Based at: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.

Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that orders are planned into the production plan and that logistics for pickups and deliveries are executed timely and efficiently through effective communication and planning.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning all orders into the production schedule to meet customer delivery deadlines.
• Liaising with local and international third-party packers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of packaging and products.
• Maintaining accurate stock levels on SAGE 200.
• Communicating with senior management and finance to align stock levels with sales forecasts.
• Coordinating with the sales department to maintain accurate sales forecasts.
• Managing logistics companies to ensure all deliveries meet requirements and are completed on time and in full.
• Investigating customer delivery complaints.
• Ensuring all customs documentation for export deliveries is accurate.
• Performing other duties as required by the business.

Skills and experience:

• Experience with Sage 200.
• Ability to analyze data effectively.
• Knowledge of BRC standards and requirements.
• Monitoring KPIs such as Order in Time in Full, Warehouse GMP Audit, and Orders produced in time and in full.
