Job description

Job Title: Planning and Logistics Manager

Report to: Senior Operations Manager

Location: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.

Role: You will be responsible for planning orders into production and coordinating logistics for pickups and deliveries to ensure timely and complete customer service.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Planning bulk/retail/oat drink orders into the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines.
2. Liaising with local and international third-party packers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of packaging and products.
3. Maintaining accurate stock levels on Sage 200.
4. Communicating with the Senior Operations Manager and Finance team to manage stock based on sales forecasts.
5. Coordinating with the Sales Department to align production with sales forecasts.
6. Managing logistics companies to meet delivery requirements.
7. Handling customer delivery complaints and resolving issues.
8. Ensuring all export customs documentation is accurate.
9. Performing other duties as required by the business.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience with Sage 200.
• Data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of BRC standards and requirements.
• Experience monitoring KPIs such as 'Order in Time in Full', 'Warehouse GMP Audit', and 'Orders produced in time and in full'.
