Job summary

A long standing partner in Eastleigh is recruiting a Planner to join a busy, established organisation. This full-time role is based in Eastleigh with a salary up to £31,600 per annum DOE and Monday to Friday working hours.

You will plan and coordinate daily workloads, allocate jobs efficiently and progress them to completion. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and good IT skills with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning, scheduling or administration roles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team and use initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily workloads, ensuring tasks are allocated efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and works in line with service levels and deadlines.
  • Monitor the progress of jobs and follow up on outstanding works.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure progress.
  • Keep databases and records accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate materials, appointments and resources where required.
  • Identify delays or issues and escalate where needed.
  • Provide clear communication to customers and stakeholders.
  • Support reporting and monitoring of workloads and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and health and safety requirements.

Planner

Location: Eastleigh

Salary: Up to £31,600 per annum DOE

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time

We are currently recruiting for a Planner to join a busy and established organisation based in Eastleigh.

This is a key coordination role, responsible for planning and scheduling workloads, ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently and progressed through to completion. You will work closely with internal teams, customers and external contractors to ensure work is delivered within agreed timescales and service standards.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident managing competing priorities and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily workloads, ensuring tasks are allocated efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and works in line with agreed service levels and deadlines.
  • Monitor the progress of jobs and follow up on outstanding works.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure work progresses smoothly.
  • Keep databases and records accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate materials, appointments and resources where required.
  • Identify and elevate any delays, compliance issues or potential problems.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
  • Support reporting and monitoring of workloads, performance and KPIs.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant procedures, policies and health and safety requirements.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a planning, scheduling, coordination or administration role.
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Can manage a busy workload and prioritise competing demands.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is confident liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
  • Is comfortable working to deadlines, targets and KPIs.
  • Has good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Is professional, reliable and customer-focused.

Experience within housing, repairs, maintenance, construction or a similar environment would be advantageous, although relevant planning and coordination experience will also be considered.
