Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Planner for our Eastleigh-based client. The role focuses on planning and scheduling workloads, ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently and progressed to completion.

You will coordinate with internal teams, customers and external contractors, maintain accurate records and monitor workloads against service levels and KPIs, while adhering to health and safety requirements. Mon-Fri, full-time.

Qualifications

  • Has previous experience in planning, scheduling, coordination or administration.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise competing demands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works well in a team and uses own initiative.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines, targets and KPIs.
  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
  • Experience in housing, repairs, maintenance, construction or similar environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily workloads, ensuring tasks are allocated efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and works in line with service levels and deadlines.
  • Monitor progress of jobs and follow up on outstanding works.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure work progresses smoothly.
  • Keep databases and records accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate materials, appointments and resources where required.
  • Identify and elevate delays, compliance issues or potential problems.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
  • Support reporting and monitoring of workloads, performance and KPIs.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant procedures, policies and health and safety requirements.

Location: Eastleigh


Salary: Up to £31,600 per annum DOE


Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time


We are currently recruiting for a Planner to join a busy and established organisation based in Eastleigh.


This is a key coordination role, responsible for planning and scheduling workloads, ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently and progressed through to completion. You will work closely with internal teams, customers and external contractors to ensure work is delivered within agreed timescales and service standards.


The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident managing competing priorities and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Experience within housing, repairs, maintenance, construction or a similar environment would be advantageous, although relevant planning and coordination experience will also be considered.
