Job summary

Howells Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to lead Planned Maintenance projects in Walton on Thames. You will manage on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and deliver refurbishment works to tenanted properties while upholding health and safety standards.

The role is full-time and permanent with a highly competitive salary of up to £55K plus package, with responsibilities including stakeholder liaison and programme delivery across multiple work streams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering refurbishment programmes on social housing or similar tenanted properties
• Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors
• Strong health and safety compliance on site

Responsibilities

• Controlling the overall direction and financial performance of the contract
• Work with client representatives to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Cost control and subcontractor management
• Implement short, mid and long-term work programmes
• Carry out on-site inspections, investigations, and reporting with recommendations
• Hand over properties on time and monitor KPIs
• Liaise with client, contract administrators and designers
• Oversee site safety, administration and staff
• Schedule and procure materials; chair subcontractor progress meetings
• Coordinate with design teams and consultants and manage programming with MS Project
