Job summary

Howells Recruitment is seeking a proactive Site Manager to deliver internal and external refurbishment works across North West London for social housing and decent homes programmes. You will manage a site team, drive projects to programme, and ensure client satisfaction on a client-facing basis.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong cost control, and adherence to health and safety standards, with a salary up to £65K plus car/mileage allowance and a driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering external refurbishment for social housing.
• Experience with external cladding on social housing projects.
• Driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Control the overall direction and financials of the contract.
• Work with client representatives to ensure high quality service.
• Cost control and subcontractor management.
• Implement short, mid and long term work programmes.
• Carry out site inspections, investigations and reports.
• Handover properties on time and meet KPIs.
• Liaise with client, design teams and consultants.
• Maintain health and safety on site.
• Manage site administration and staff.
• Schedule and procure materials.
• Chair subcontractor progress meetings.
• Program works using MS Project.
