Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead planned maintenance refurbishment across tenanted properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows and doors. You will manage a site team of Assistant Site Managers and Resident Liaison Officers, ensure health and safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Site Manager - Planned Maintenance

£50K - £58K plus company car or car allowance

Full-Time, permanent position

We are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to deliver Planned Maintenance Projects including: kitchens, bathrooms, rooofing, window and door replacements, aids and adapts, cladding, and structural repairs.

This is a client facing role where you will be responsible for delivering refurbishment programs to tenanted properties, through effective management of your site team of Assistant Site Managers and Resident Liaison Officers. We are looking for candidates with proven experience of driving successful delivery through effective management, whilst ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.

Site Manager Duties

• Controlling the overall direction and whilst maintaining financial control of the contract
• Work in partnership with the client and client representatives, to ensure that a high quality service delivery is actually provided
• Cost control and subcontractor management
• Implementing the short, mid and long term programmes for the various work streams
• Carry out onsite inspections, undertake investigations, enquiries, prepare reports and offer solutions maintaining continuous improvement
• Hand over properties on time, working to strict key performance indicators
• Liaison with the client and contract administrators
• Health and safety on the site
• Management and control of the site administration and staff
• Scheduling and procurement of materials
• Chair sub-contractor progress meetings
