Places Leisure, part of the Places for People Group, is seeking a Placemaker to create a welcoming environment, help customers choose memberships, activities or programmes, and drive membership growth. You will handle enquiries, use sales tools, and process transactions in line with procedures to support a vibrant centre community.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, comfortable with technology, and capable of working in a busy centre, with a commitment to excellent service and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing or customer service roles.
• Ability to follow up customer enquiries and prospects using digital systems.
• Experience supporting sales, membership or customer retention activities.
• Experience handling cash and processing transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, friendly environment for all customers.
• Help customers find the right membership, activity or programme to meet goals.
• Proactively follow up enquiries and support membership growth.
• Use membership systems and sales tools; manage transactions per procedures.
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere and a sense of belonging to the centre and brand.
