Job summary

Papa John’s is looking for a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas, ensuring high quality products and customer service while achieving restaurant profitability. The role involves managing operations, enforcing policies, and maintaining compliance with laws and company standards.

You will oversee dough handling, product preparation, and station duties, while supporting inventory, cash handling, and shift coverage. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv‑Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), nights, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines and expectations for each station including dough management and portioning.
• Contributes to achieving the restaurant's product goals and meets customer needs.
• Follows policies and procedures outlined in the handbook, including attendance, safety and security.
• Exhibits company core values and maintains a positive attitude, collaborating with others.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and maintains product quality, service and cost controls.
• Assists in managing inventory and cash handling to minimize loss.
