Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking Functional Assessors to support PIP and Work Capability Assessment services. This role leverages your clinical expertise to conduct impartial assessments.

Hybrid working with standard hours, no nights or weekends. Starting salary £40,000–£42,000 plus bonus, with structured training and clear progression paths for experienced healthcare professionals such as registered nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, paramedics or pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience in an adult setting.
• At least 12 months' active NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Good IT and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.
• Review medical evidence and supporting documentation.
• Discuss how a person's condition affects their daily life and ability to work.
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
