Qualifications

  • Qualified HCPC registered Neuro-Physiotherapist with at least 1 year of UK experience.
  • Ability to conduct neurological assessments and provide patient-centered treatment.

Job description

What will my duties be?
  1. Plan and carry out physiotherapy on residents, maintaining a respectful, non-judgemental, and caring attitude.
  2. Provide high-standard physiotherapy to patients.
  3. Manage own caseload, performing clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and reviews, adapting practices to patient needs, including acute, complex, and chronic cases.
  4. Monitor, review, and re-assess care plans and outcomes.
  5. Supervise, appraise, and advise therapy and support staff (Bands 2-5), and assist in supervising students and supporting clinical educators.
  6. Work in a coordinated multi-disciplinary manner.
  7. Utilize electronic notes systems, data analysis, and reporting tools effectively.

We expect high standards of care and provide comprehensive training. Candidates should be qualified and active members of relevant Special Interest Groups, including the CPS.

What do I need to be successful?

Candidates should have:

  1. HCPC registration.
  2. Motivation and enthusiasm as a HCPC registered Neuro-Physiotherapist (Band 5/6), with the ability to serve as a role model.
  3. At least 1 year of UK experience in a neuro setting, with respiratory experience as an advantage.
  4. Capability to conduct neurological assessments and provide treatment aligned with patient goals, using valid outcome tools.
  5. Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
