Job Description:

Virtual MSK Physiotherapist

Remote based with occasional attendance in either Bupa Place (Salford Quays, M50 3SP) or an alternative local Bupa Centre as required.

Permanent

Flexible shift pattern – based on 37.5 hours per week, with a minimum of 22.5 hours, including evening and weekend shifts

The service operates between 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday. Flexible evening and weekend shifts are available. You would be expected to work one late shift per week (12-8pm) and one Saturday and Sunday every 6 weeks. If you are seeking flexible hours to fit your lifestyle, please get in touch.

This service provides physiotherapy consultations for Bupa Insurance Members, Occupational Health, and Corporate Customers, offering fast access to triage where no GP referral has been made.

The service aims to support individuals in self-managing their musculoskeletal conditions and facilitate onward referrals when necessary.

Your role will include:

• Delivering high-quality telephone assessments via video and audio.
• Providing diagnoses, self-management advice, and onward referrals.
• Monitoring complex and red-flag cases, escalating when appropriate.
• Assessing customer needs and offering suitable advice and support.
• Managing patient pathways to ensure optimal clinical outcomes at the best cost.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience equivalent to band 6 or 7 physiotherapist in MSK settings, with a strong record of 1-1 clinical delivery.
• Up-to-date clinical practice and ability to maintain competence.
• Diploma or Degree, accredited with HCPC/CSP.
• Ability to evaluate, plan, and prioritize workload under tight deadlines.
• Excellent clinical knowledge with rapid and decisive response skills.
