Overview

Permanent - full time or part time available (Mon-Fri). Mixture of remote and assessment centre working, offering an exceptional work-life balance. This Disability Assessor role involves autonomously assessing claimants applying for Work Capability Assessments (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) HAAS programme. Training is fully paid for, and the role contributes to clinical hours and ongoing registration requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Use your clinical experience to work with people with a diverse range of health conditions, to understand how their disabilities impact daily life.
  • Work in an office style environment and remotely to complete detailed, meaningful, and respectful assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
  • Interpret medical evidence and compile findings into a comprehensive report to support DWP decision-making.
Requirements
  • We are seeking Physiotherapists for this vacancy.
  • HCPC registration is required.
  • You must have at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience; UK experience is essential.
  • Proactive, keen to learn and receptive to feedback; excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and IT competency is a must-have.
