Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Lancashire is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to collect venous blood samples across hospital wards, ED, clinics and in community settings. You will join the Phlebotomy Department, perform venepuncture and support patients with care and compassion.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with patients and relatives.
• Willingness to train and develop venepuncture skills.

Responsibilities

• Take venous blood samples from hospital wards, ED, clinics and community.
• Transport samples for analysis to Pathology Department.
