Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with phlebotomy or venepuncture in a clinical setting.

• Ability to document procedures accurately in patient records.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and obtain consent before blood collection.
• Carry out venepuncture safely and label samples correctly.
• Record collection details in the patient record and dispatch samples appropriately.
• Maintain stock levels and keep clinical areas clean and safe.
