A leading charity is seeking a Philanthropy Manager to drive major donor fundraising efforts. This role involves nurturing existing relationships and securing new donors, crucial for the charity's mission to combat eating disorders. The ideal candidate will possess sensitivity and creativity, ensuring donors feel valued and supported. The position is home-based with travel required for meetings in London and Norwich. Heading up major donor fundraising, the Philanthropy Manager will drive vital income growth for the charity. They will nurture and uplift existing major donor relationships while identifying and securing the support of new major donors. With 20% of Beat’s income coming from major donors, this role is pivotal in fulfilling our mission to make eating disorders a thing of the past.
We are looking for an ambitious and skilled major donor fundraiser who can drive income growth in this area while insuring that our donors receive the best possible care. Many of our donors have personal experience of an eating disorder or of supporting a loved one with one, and are looking to create something positive out of their suffering by helping others. Do you have the sensitivity and creativity to support them to do so?
The closing date for this position is Monday 9 June at 9am, however Beat has the right to close this position at any time, so please do submit your application early to avoid any disappointment. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview by close of business on Monday 9 June.
First round interviews will take place on Thursday 12 June, on Microsoft Teams second round interviews will be held on Monday 16 June, in London.
